Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Contractor to join our team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels at creating opportunities and building relationships in the tech industry. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in driving our growth and expanding our reach in the market.

This role will work directly with b5. You will have the full support of a technical founder who will work with you to match iroh's technical capabilities with partner needs.

This is a build role. We're transitioning both the team & the project towards adoption, and need your help to get CRM and pipeline infrastructure in place. We've started on this work, but we want to work with you because you know how do this better than we do.


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in targeted markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop strategies that enhance our market presence and drive sales.
  • Negotiate and close business deals that contribute to our strategic and financial objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners.
  • Regularly report on sales progress and business development initiatives.


  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the tech market and current industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
